Job Introduction
Head of SAP
As the Head of SAP for Sodexo UK & Ireland, you'll head up our superb in-house SAP team to manage a variety of projects as well as provide diligent support for ongoing business operations. You'll enjoy working in a complex SAP environment that interfaces with many different systems locally as well as with our global SAP estate, meaning a technical understanding of SAP is key. You'll also connect with various business leaders to discuss project updates and functional requirements, and provide key reports into steering committees and IS&T Directors. This role will include many exciting challenges, not least leading our upcoming migration to SAP S/4 HANA, as well as improving our business processes and enhancing our levels of automation.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the inhouse SAP function for Sodexo, comprising functional and technical teams, as well as interim contractors and third-party partners
- Plan and manage large SAP change projects such as site implementations & application upgrades
- Implement and manage effective governance to ensure successful project delivery to achieve business objectives, as well as to be able to provide detailed reports and updates
- Build trusted, cooperative working relationships with stakeholders and partners, both internal and external
What you bring:
- Strong hands-on SAP experience covering both functional and technical aspects of SAP systems and the associated business processes, specifically with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
- Line management experience, including both resource management and personal development
- Proven ITIL knowledge for service, problem and incident management
- Fantastic communication skills to collaborate with a range of stakeholders at all seniority levels in a complex, matrix environment

This role is predominantly remote but occasional travel to Sodexo offices is required.
