As Head of Reducing Reoffending at HMP Forest Bank, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering our rehabilitative strategy, ensuring every person in our care has the best possible chance to succeed beyond custody.

This is a high-impact, senior leadership position requiring strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to inspire collaboration across multiple disciplines. Reporting directly to the Director, you will drive the delivery of our key objectives in line with HMPPS priorities and Sodexo’s core values.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams across Offender Management, Psychology, Education, Skills & Work, and Faith Services.

• Champion a rehabilitative culture that promotes safety, decency, inclusion, and personal growth.

• Oversee the delivery of programmes and initiatives that reduce reoffending, enhance resettlement outcomes, and strengthen public protection.

• Build strong relationships with external partners, including HMPPS, Probation Services, and community organisations.

• Anticipate and manage operational, reputational, and contractual risks, ensuring stability and compliance across all service areas.

• Support the Director in achieving strategic priorities, contractual targets, and continuous improvement goals.

• Represent Sodexo Justice and HMP Forest Bank in key stakeholder forums and within the wider community.

• Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Strong understanding of offender management, rehabilitation, and education within a justice setting.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
