Job Introduction

Create outstanding clients and consumers experience to support sales, business growth and build differentiation of food offers within Sodexo Corporate Services in UK&I. Define Marketing plan and go to market strategy into new sectors and food models in the UK&I.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Managing multiple teams and stakeholders within Sodexo to create the best food offers to our clients in UK and Ireland markets
  • Collaborative and professional approach to work across cross-functional and global teams
  • Ability to develop market leading offers through marketing mix and professional collateral so that Sodexo offering can disrupt competition and become first choice for our existing and new clients
  • Complex and long sales cycles – rise of consultative selling
  • Role of digital and technology in our service offering
  • Driving margin improvement and revenue growth 

Responsible for Client and Consumer Marketing Strategy for Corporate Services to retain, cross sell and upsell on existing clients and capture new prospects. Drive consistency and efficiency across the UK&I region.

 

  • Understand client’s and consumer’s needs, behaviours and expectations and build marketing strategy based on data, research and evidence
  • Work closely with Food Transformation Director to retain, cross-sell and win new business, accelerate growth of food contracts across UK&I
  • Lead Service marketing activity in the UK&I to define & prioritise service development needs, including transfer & adaptation of Global services
  • Support all key commercial RFPs
  • Support all digital deployment in UK&I
  • Lead the development of annual and longer-term marketing and business plans for the segment in the region, ensuring alignment with strategy
  • Define a digital Marketing road map to transform the business in the region, identifying the domains and activities that benefit from rapid digitization
  • Manage and develop regionally Sodexo brand awareness, image and preference for clients and consumers. Implement a consistency of Brand strategy and initiatives
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

Extensive experience in B2B and B2C Marketing with both strategic and operational roles with successful impact on the business and digital expertise. Self-starter, high level of autonomy combined with strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Experience in Global, Regional and local Marketing roles within food industry
  • Experience in Product and Brand management, Value proposition creation and positioning
  • Development and implementation of Digital Marketing strategy, products, campaigns and tools:
    • Client and consumer engagement (including client and consumer journey and pain points identification),
    • Digital touchpoints development and deployment (consumer mobile APP)
    • Creation and implementation of new business models through data incl. data monetization
    • Experience in e-commerce and data
  • Knowledge of workplace and retail
  • Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives
  • Combination of analytical skills along with strong synthesis, ability to summarize and simplify
  • Project management and KPI setting & tracking
  • Strategic mindset, forward looking
  • Passion and drive, ability to convince, influencing without formal authority
  • Understanding of how to work effectively with a matrixed, global organization and leverage knowledge across the organization
  • Innovative and creative to drive new business models
  • Communication, presentation and engagement skills
