Role Responsibility:
As the Head of Data & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive insights, optimise operations, and support strategic decision-making. You will lead a team of talented professionals, including Data Quality Analysts, Data Insight Analysts, and New Business Analysts. Reporting to the Head of Data & IT, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organisation to deliver actionable insights and drive data-oriented initiatives.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of Data Quality Analysts, Data Insight Analysts, and New Business Analysts.
- Drive the development and execution of the data and analytics strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Develop and maintain robust data governance processes and ensure data integrity across various systems.
- Champion a data-driven culture by promoting best practices, implementing data analytics tools, and delivering data literacy training.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data and analytics.
The Ideal Candidate:
- BA in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline). A Master's degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within the procurement, supply chain, or hospitality industry.
- Strong background in data analytics, data modelling, and data visualisation. Proficient in utilising advanced analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive data-oriented initiatives, influence decision-making, and deliver business value through data-driven insights.
