Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

We are currently looking to recruit an excellent and experienced hands-on Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to join a key client of ours in their global corporate headquarters. The Ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar environment. This role is not purely culinary and offers a varied workload so you will be happy to split your work and have excellent organisational and time management skills.

 

Role Responsibility

What you’ll do:

  • Work in partnership with the Food Lead to deliver high quality food and coffee to the brand standard. 
  • Team management
  • Oversee the menu and quality of food served across all services including coffee shops, restaurants, hospitality and bespoke client dinners / events 
  • Manage the food P&L within the agreed budgets and forecasts. 
  • Control all costs including labour, expenses and cash purchases
  • Plan ahead to meet business and customer demands. 
  • Analyse daily production, sales and wastage records (online and in kitchen records) to plan and forecast production for future menu cycles

The Ideal Candidate

What you bring:

  • Consistent relevant experience in blue chip organisation
  • P&L experience
  • Strong financial awareness and understanding of budgets
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to manage teams of people whilst being a team player
  • Impeccable culinary skills
  • Client customer communication skills, with the ability to develop long term relationships
  • Passion for food and service delivery
  • Competent IT skills

Package Description

£40,000pa - £45,000pa dependent on exp + excellent bonus & benefits

Location: GSK House, Brentford

Permanent

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday with flexibility essential to meet business demands
