Responsibilities
- Uphold Sodexo's culinary standards, ensuring exceptional quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, stock control, and efficient service delivery to meet KPIs and client specifications.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating theme days and special events, to enhance dining experiences.
- Foster a culture of sustainability by minimizing waste and adhering to Sodexo's Leanpath Waste Management system.
- Develop and maintain a professional, skilled team, ensuring comprehensive training and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee budget management, ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations without compromising quality.
- Act as a representative of Sodexo, maintaining a professional image and resolving any client concerns effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of menu development, food safety regulations, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of training and motivating a diverse culinary team.
- Familiarity with budget management, cost control, and inventory management.
- Commitment to sustainability and efficiency in kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Strong communication skills, capable of maintaining high standards of professionalism in all interactions.
