About the role

At Sodexo we are passionate about the services we deliver. Our facilities management professionals are at the heart of everything that we do and we’re looking to recruit Handy Person to join our team at Limerick.

You'll work at ground level from grass cutting to waste reduction, managing basic maintenance including joinery and undertaking repairs. You’ll be the go-to person at our site and won’t ever need to worry about two days being the same!

You’ll soon have a full working knowledge of our building, including all the services required, so don’t forget to bring your keen eye for detail and self-motivation!

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivery of a consistent level of service, within the Company's standards, to the contract specification and agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
  • Compliance to company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
  • Dealing effectively and safely with all service requests and incidents within the range of competence, training and experience as required and by out of hours response where necessary.
  • Ensure the standards across the site(s) are in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and KPI’s specified in the service contract.

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Proven track record in similar role, preferably with at least 2 years’ experience
  • Proven ability to organize tasks
  • Ability to carry out duties efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate as part of a team.
  • Customer focus.
  • Innovative.
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument/Utilities aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Results and performance driven.
  • Adaptable and flexible.

Desirable

  • Practical experience in a similar role
  • Measured and Consistent Approach to all functions and responsibilities.
  • Scientific or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, utilities engineering.
  • Maintenance experience within a GMP regulated environment.
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience of Delta V, PLC and SCADA systems
  • Experience of SAP.
