Job Introduction

As a Handy Person for Sodexo at  TotalEnergie Knottingley, WF11 8JY, you will ensure that our estates are maintained to the highest standards and assist daily operations by delivering minor repairs within your capability. What you’ll do: 

• General Site Cleanliness E.G: external Sweeping, jet washing, driving sit on cleaners, litter picking.
• Cleaning Bunds.
• Planned and ad-hoc maintenance including painting around site.
• Moving and repairing furniture and general joinery duties.
• Refurbing old equipment E.G: Rust removal, painting, greasing, asset labelling.
• Site Gardening E.G: cutting small grass lawn, hedge trimming, weed spraying.
• Assisting Maintenance Team with their duties as a fitter’s mate etc. (rarely but when required).
• Manual Handling – Lifting items / moving items (Must be physically able)

What you bring: 

• Qualification / Experience in general maintenance activities
• Understanding of health & safety procedures  
• Excellent attention to detail, plus good communication skills    
• A level of fitness necessitated by the role.
• A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working.

We have an excellent opportunity for a all-around handy person to join a great team at TotalEnergie Knottingley. 

• Handy Person 
• 16 hrs per week - 2 x 8.5 hrs shift 7am - 3:30pm
• £11.94 per hour
• Free Parking on-site
