Hall Porter

Job Introduction

As a Hall Porter at HMB Portsmouth, You'll be passionate about inter-communication and have our customers and their safety at heart of everything you do.

What you’ll do:

  • To maintain service delivery in 24 hour Hall Porter/accommodation reception
  • General Hall Porter/receptionist duties
  • To cover the annual leave and sickness of a Hall Porter and/or Accommodation Receptionist, within a 24/7 rota.  Day shifts and night shifts.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers
  • Creating paperwork for arrivals.
  • Checking in and out.
  • Reporting defects in a timely manner.
  • To respond to queries at reception desk and incoming calls.
  • Process all information with discretion and strict confidentiality to comply with data protection and other security requirements
  • To carry out any other reasonable tasks and/or instructions as directed by management

What you bring:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Available to work flexible pattern
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Good customer service skills

Package Description

  • 72 Hours per month (Generally 12 hours shifts once or twice per week)
  • Shift can be 07:30-19:30 or 19:30-07:30
  • £11.44 per hour 
  • Overtime will be available
