What you’ll do:
▪ To lead HSE and Risk Management operations for the account, working closely with the internal and external teams in accordance with company procedures and agreed objectives.
▪ To lead the implementation of Sodexo HSE and Risk Management policies and procedures and ensure it is embedded across areas of operations where required.
▪ Undertake HSE planning for all sites, including the setting of goals, agreeing priorities, and establishing adequate systems for performance management and support the achievement of Global, UK&I and Segment targets.
▪ To ensure that the sites operate within the demands of all relevant HSE legislation and that the sites comply with all Sodexo and regulatory policies, procedures, and performance by working in conjunction with the Corporate Services HSE & Risk Team.
▪ Support the reporting and investigation, including Root Cause Analysis of accidents / incidents.
▪ This position will oversee UK cluster sites which includes office space, production and lab testing areas.
What you bring:
Essential:
▪ NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (e.g., Chartered membership of IOSH)
▪ Proven recent experience in both a Quality function and Health and Safety role.
▪ Track record of success in a similar role in a multi-site supplier partner capacity.
▪ Broad commercial experience and business acumen and knowledge of external industry developments / best practice.
▪ Experience working in a standards/compliance environment.
Desirable
▪ Experience in IFM preferably in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment such as production and laboratories.
▪ Experience and background in auditing.
▪ Membership of HSE professional institutions or other professional body.
