What the Job Looks Like:

Do you have knowledge and practical experience in recruitment processes and employee relations? Are you familiar with creating professional and friendly relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to become a vital part of our established team at HMP Altcourse as an HR and Recruitment Advisor.

As an HR and Recruitment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing advisory support to our managers on recruitment and employee relations matters. you will be the initial point of contact for our managers, assisting them with a wide range of recruitment and employee relations (ER) issues. Your responsibilities will include full case management of ER issues such as suspensions, investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and absences. You will ensure that all guidance provided to line managers is not only practical but also compliant with both Sodexo policy and relevant employment legislation.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our resourcing team to facilitate the recruitment process. This will involve coordinating recruitment activities, reviewing job advertisements, and ensuring interviews progress in a timely manner. You will work together with the resourcing team to enhance our brand in the local job market and even attend local job fairs, alongside the HR Business Partner where required, to tap into a broader pool of external talent.
