HR Project Manager (18-month FTC)
Job Introduction
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team on an 18-monht FTC. You’ll be given the autonomy to manage projects from inception to completion and be accountable for controlling all aspects of delivery; clients, end users, accounts, operations and senior team colleagues.
To be successful in this role you’ll be confident and comfortable managing all levels of stakeholders up to Director level and be able to present effectively, influence decisions & direction and manage the expectations and input from senior leaders down.
Although you’ll be working to challenging deadlines and juggling multiple priorities; you’ll be supported by a team of experienced professionals who work collaboratively, support each other’s development and who are passionate about what they do and how they do it. You’ll be involved in a variety of project enquiries working with different types of customers with no two jobs being the same! You can have the confidence that you’ll be supported by your line manager and peers; with constructive input being provided in open forum to negate potential issues. You’ll join a team who deliver to the highest standards and exceptional service to our internal and external clients.
This role is home based with travel required across the UK
Role Responsibility
- Lead several key regional HR initiatives end to end, as well as play a key role in contributing to some larger scale projects within the Sodexo Group portfolio
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs at different levels and in different parts of the organisation
- Use group facilitation methods to ensure proposals developed are customer focused and have leveraged collective intelligence of working groups
- Work to defined project governance in delivery of projects, including development of project plans, reporting and document control. Manage the successful winddown of the workstreams, ensuring that all lessons learned are captured
- Develop and own the business cases related to projects within your remit
- Lead process design activity that will support touchpoints within your project scope
- Work collaboratively with other HR Projects team members, stepping in to provide support as required during peak periods
- Support continuous improvement by openly giving and receiving feedback and acting on change
- Play a key leading role in the change management of the projects in your remit, and support, where relevant, with the broader change management and engagement of operational HR initiatives
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and develop strategies to collaborate with them and bring them onboard with plans
The Ideal Candidate
- Several years’ experience of project management across complex organisations or large projects
- Proven track record of change management expertise
- Strong leadership skills and ability to get groups of people to work together and influence their decision making
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills
- Ability to set direction, pace and ensure delivery of benefits to the organisation
- Ability to deal with high level of ambiguity and adjust plans accordingly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage a busy schedule
- Proficient user of Microsoft office programme
