HR Data and Reporting Analyst

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a HR Data and Reporting Analyst to join our team at our Shared Service Centre in Salford.

You will be responsible for processing, maintaining, analysing and reporting on incoming data within agreed timescales.

If you are a proficient user of Microsoft office programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint, have a willingness to learn and can use your own initiative this is a great opportunity for you.

Role Responsibility

  • Responsible for outputting data from HR Systems, ensuring that it is of high quality, accurate, efficient and consistent
  • Contribute to the HR dashboard, analytics and human capital metrics as well as routine and ad-hoc reporting ensuring that data requests are completed within agreed SLAs
  • Regularly collate, analyse and present HRMI from a variety of sources
  • Handle data requests and queries from HR Shared Service customers, escalating complex or potential issues to the HR Data and Reporting Specialist
  • Identify opportunities for more effective use of HR management information, risks to HR data accuracy and better ways of working
  • Produce large data outputs for TUPEs, mobilisations and other bulk employee communications and projects
  • Contribute to the accurate collation, audit and maintenance of HR data ensuring robust data and protecting the integrity and quality of company data, when required
  • Support HR colleagues to promote more efficient and effective use of HR MI
  • Provide administrative support and participate in HR Projects as required, in the delivery of HR calendar events and provide "hands-on" support to other HR Service Centre Teams when required eg: at peak times.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Ability to manipulate data  and create meaningful reports
  • Highly organised and responsive, with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines
  • Numerate and a lateral thinker with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn new change methodology and tools
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Team player

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent / CIPD qualified
  • Experience of working in a shared service environment

Package Description

£Competitive - dependant on experience

12 month FTC (to end Dec 2015).
