HR Business Partner
Job Introduction
Sodexo Energy and Resources have a fantastic opportunity for an HRBP to provide services to our large global energy clients and support their businesses in the North and North East of England. Sodexo’s Energy & Resources team serves clients across a broad spectrum of the energy generation supply chain including oil, gas and petrochemical production; refining and distribution, engineering; construction and remote camp management plus other energy sectors. Your focus will be to Partner with business leaders and our segment HR Director to drive and deliver innovative HR solutions.
The HRBP role is a key player in the web of influence and will hold relationships with the Sodexo leadership team, clients and their HR teams. You will be keen to add value by bringing thought leadership to our clients around HR best practice and current thinking.
You will partner with the senior management team to deliver HR solutions, maximising people performance, strategizing and workforce planning to significantly contribute towards supporting and growing our business.
This will be ideal for someone who is forward thinking, curious and able to influence at a senior level. We'd like you to be CIPD qualified or qualified by experience, have experience in managing and supporting with change management and employee relations issues and have excellent client relationship management skills.

Role Responsibility
What you’ll do:
- Maximise people performance, strategy, workforce planning, develop support and promote a HR community of best practice which will significantly contribute toward strengthening business performance.
- Support and advise managers on the recruitment, retention, and management of predominantly site-based workforce(s).
- Support business development activity within the segment to support the focus on growth agenda.
- Enhance HR engagement and quality of subsequent HR output to connect with our clients and strategically understand their business.
- Coach and counsel account/site leadership team(s) and act as a trusted partner for them to spar with.

The Ideal Candidate
What you bring:
- Ideally CIPD qualified or qualified by experience.
- Extensive HR generalist experience and detailed understanding of all aspects of HR management including reward, resourcing, talent management/succession planning, change management and employee relations.
- Proven experience in working in a matrix organisation and building diverse teams.
- Developed client relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proven understanding of human capital measurement and delivery of performance improvement interventions.
- Professional and commercial acumen, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of organisation development and design, and facilitation of change including consultation and engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, coaching and facilitation skills.
- Well organised, responsive, and able to work under pressure.
Package Description
£40,000pa - £55,000pa + excellent bonus and benefits
Location: Remote but with approx. 3days pw based on our Energy & Resource client sites in North and North East England, travel required to include Aberdeen on occasion
Permanent
Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday
