Group Manager (North East)
Term time only position - 40 weeks per year

As a District Support Manager, you'll have the chance to drive innovation in food presentation, support marketing campaigns, and engage in partnered curriculum-based food activities. What you’ll do:
 
  • Oversee and support individual schools in line with Schools by Sodexo Food and Co menu offer and Oasis contract.
  • Assist in the completion of daily sales meal numbers, cashless tracker tool, and monthly billing process.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards in food and personal hygiene, health, safety, and allergen management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and Sodexo team members.
  • Support managers with special functions and actively participate in staff training and development.
  • Monitor financial performance, maintain strict budgetary control, and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of marketing campaigns, Food & Co initiatives, and seasonal activities.
 
What you bring:
  • Strong level of literacy and numeracy, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS Clearance.
  • 706/2 or NVQ2 chef qualification (or equivalent) and previous catering experience.
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Demonstrable ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Computer literacy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and commitment to meeting targets.

Desirable:
 
  • 706/3 or NVQ3 chef hospitality qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in catering management, employee engagement, and managing budgets.
  • Experience of delivering training using company guidelines and developing a team in an educational establishment.
