Gregg's Shift Leader/Team Leader/Supervisor

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Supervisor/Team Leader/Shift Lead for our Greggs store located at the University of the West of England. As a part of the Greggs team, you will oversee all daily operations of the store, ensuring that we deliver the highest possible standards of customer service and product quality.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment, and will have experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve their full potential. You will also have excellent communication skills, be able to handle cash responsibly, and be enthusiastic about delivering a memorable experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of store operations

- Lead a team to deliver excellent customer service and product quality

- Manage inventory, stock levels and ordering of supplies

- Ensure all health and safety and food hygiene regulations are adhered to

- Cash handling and financial reconciliation

- Provide training and coaching to team members as required

Key Skills & Requirements:

- Proven experience in a fast-paced retail or similar environment

- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role

- Exceptional customer service skills

- Ability to handle cash responsibly

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure

- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
