General Service Manager – Belfast Erskine House 

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Services Manager to lead day-to-day operations at Belfast Erskine House, Belfast BT1 4GF. In this pivotal role, you will ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency supporting the performance of a high-profile public sector contract.

What you will do:
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, including buildings, services, and infrastructure.

  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, SOPs, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and contractor management.

  • Monitor budgets and service costs, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

  • Lead, mentor, and coach team members to achieve service excellence.

  • Represent Sodexo to clients, auditors, and stakeholders; provide reports and manage inspections.

  • Drive continuous improvement and identify business opportunities within your area.

  • Ensure team and supplier compliance with security and clearance requirements.

What You Bring:
  • Proven experience in Total Facilities Management.

  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.

  • Financially astute with experience managing budgets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, staff, and stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH qualification or trade-specific Authorised Person status.

  • Experience in risk assessment, ISO standards auditing, Legionella/water management, or asbestos management.
