Job Introduction

General Services Manager
Location: Enfield
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 & range of excellent employee benefits
Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work

Sodexo has a great opportunity for a General Services Manager to join our established team working with our clients based in Enfield.

Joining our team at their large production site in Enfield, you will ensure the local delivery of Soft FM with some technical services at the site, ensuring cost, quality and compliance metrics are achieved by Sodexo as well as for the client.   

Responsible for the entire operating structure at site, leading a team to ensure delivery against Key Performance Indicators with the ability to potentially move the business to an IFM structure with technical services over the next few years.

You will also support in the delivery and implementation of the business strategy for client’s and site-specific objectives & manage budgets to maintain and achieve financial targets whilst identify cost saving opportunities.

About You 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 
  • A Broad commercial IFM technical services background covering H&S & People Management knowledge of external industry developments & contract development models (preferred but not essential) 
  • Ability to interpret and utilise financial information 
  • Previous experience of operational management in a similar environment  
  • Experienced in leading company initiatives and change management processes    
  • Experience in identifying and selling organic business growth  
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills  
  • Excellent client relationship management  
  • Experience working in a standards/compliance environment  
Qualification’s required:
  • IOSH or equivalent Managing Safely and/or H&S qualification

This position will require the successful candidate to undergo a standard DBS check. Therefore, eligibility is a must.
