General Manager (Student Accommodation)
Job Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people focused Manager to join Sodexo. The role of General Manager will see to take accountability for the 166 bed Student Accommodation based in Leicester. This is an exceptional opportunity and one which will allow you to give full strategic direction to the delivery of facilities services to a large client.
Role Responsibility
- Management of a 166 bedroom student accommodation
- 6 direct reports including facilities staff and security
- Delivery exceptional customer service at all times
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract and managing the IFM services to and across the site.
- Fostering long term profitable relationships and negotiating client contracts to increase new business opportunities by delivering operational excellence
- Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
- Motivate and lead a high performing team to achieve their objectives and the Sodexo strategy
- Operational management of Sodexo’s accounts ensuring that the Client receives services of the highest quality.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experienced of developing profitable relationships for multi site contracts
- Experienced in leading company initiatives and change management processes
- Experience of working in a customer service focused environment
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent client relationship management
- Experience of working in a standards/compliance environment
- Knowledge of managing facilities services in an Education, Schools/universities, environment
