GMP Manufacturing Support Team Lead
Job Introduction

Role Responsibility
- To provide support to GSK clinical manufacturing and process development teams within the GSK Ware-R&D Manufacturing Pilot Plant.
- To direct the duties of the Sodexo GMP Support Team and liaise with the Sodexo Facilities Support Team to ensure that rooms and equipment in Ware-R&D Manufacturing Pilot Plant and Stability Chambers are available on request to GSK end users and that they meet all relevant safety and GMP requirements.
- Develop and optimise the operational model provided by the Sodexo GMP Support Team so as to best support the needs of our GSK customers.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience of working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)/manufacturing environment would be a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques and experience in the implementation of these within the manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Working within a high pressured and highly compliant environment, have the ability to work effectively to short timelines and changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Strong customer services skills and experience.
- Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking.
- Experience of managing a team with demonstrated leadership skills.
- The individual requires to be self-motivated and able to work with limited/minimal supervision.
- An excellent team worker with a flexible and proactive approach.
- High level of computer literacy is required for the role as is an excellent eye-for-detail.
- Have knowledge of Health & Safety requirements including identification of hazards, Risk Assessments and other relevant documentation and training requirements. IOSH (or equivalent) training would be an advantage.
- Have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions given in English (in order to be able to perform operations to the required level with limited/minimal supervision).
