GMP Cleaner - IM Frontline Support

Job Introduction

To provide GMP cleaning services to the Inventory Management Warehouse facility (IM) & IM Frontline 

Role Responsibility

 

GMP / General Cleaning:

Daily

  • GMP dispensary (0700 – 0830)
  • Cleaning of Welfare Facilities
  • Daily haz waste (purple sacks) collection and preparation for collection
  • Sweeping of warehouse floors
  • Removal of general waste

 

Weekly

  • Vacuum and dust office areas
  • Cleaning of trucking corridor
  • Assist with loading of hazardous waste in vendor vehicle using FLT
  • Dust stores racking
  • Wet mop warehouse floor and pallet racking aisles
  • Clean fridges 1 &2(internal)
  • Mop waste room floor
  • Mop shipping area floor
  • General dusting of surfaces and glazing
  • Safety shower and tap flushing (legionella)
  • Clean solvent and gas store
  • Disinfection of drains and sinks
  • Mop Mezz floor area
  • Mop receipts area

Monthly

  • Housekeeping of external waste areas (haz/non-haz), inc area around Dawson fridges
  • Clean external Dawson fridges 1 & 2

Ad Hoc

  • Cover CSP cleaners absence
  • Cleaning of pallet racking (high level cleaning) as requested

 

 

First Line Operations Support:

 

  • Manage waste water tanks which sit in the IM trucking corridor (working under Pfizer SSOW and training from Pfizer IM team who currently undertake this service)
    • Daily monitoring of tank levels
    • Samples to be taken when water levels are at 75% and sent to Waste water Treatment Facility (WWTF)
    • Tanks to be discharged to WWTF post sample results

 

  • Assist with management of non GMP consumables stored in trucking corridor (utilizing Pfizer IM inventory systems)
    • Unloading of vehicles
    • Storage of consumables
    • Picking consumables

 

  • Transfer of salt for water softening from trucking corridor to ELS drop off point
  • External housekeeping (sweeping/clearing of rubbish)
    • General waste area
    • Area around Dawson fridge’s

 

  • Assist with Daily FLT checks

 

The Ideal Candidate

2-3 years of cleaning experience

2–3 years work experience ideally within a warehousing/stores environment

Good levels of numeracy and literacy

Basic IT skills

Experience in inventory systems

Goods Interpersonal skills

Able to work on own initiative

Drivers only - FLT license

Drivers only - Current clean driving licence

Health and Safety awareness, lab awareness & COSHH awareness

Manual handling experience

GMP awareness and validation awareness

Gowning awareness

Ability to work on their own unsupervised

Customer focussed & team player

Good communication skills

Good housekeeping standards
