Front of House Supervisor

  • Between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm
  • £19.00 per hour

What you'll do: 

  • Supervise and support the reception team to deliver exceptional front-of-house service while ensuring adherence to SOPs and client procedures.
  • Manage reception scheduling, team cover, holiday approvals, and lead regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Oversee the client journey and meeting/event bookings, ensuring proper systems are used and space is maximized without compromising service standards.
  • Liaise professionally with VIPs, stakeholders, and support teams (AV, IT, Facilities, and Catering) to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Ensure team compliance with Sodexo and client Health & Safety policies, including safety walks, near-miss reporting, and maintaining a hazard-free reception area.
  • Monitor service standards, drive continuous improvement, and act as a positive ambassador for the company at all times.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in a hotel or corporate reception environment, ideally as a duty manager, reception supervisor, or similar leadership role.
  • Minimum two years’ customer service experience, with proven team management or supervisory skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office); basic knowledge of AV, visitor management, and room booking systems is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and the ability to multitask effectively.
