As a Front of House Supervisor at Sodexo, based at Nuffield Hospital Derriford, you’ll take the lead in delivering high-quality catering services in a dynamic healthcare environment. You’ll be an inspiring leader, capable of motivating your team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a sharp eye for detail. With strong communication and organisational skills, you’ll help us put people at the heart of everything we do — delivering outstanding service to patients, staff, and visitors alike. What you’ll do:
- Lead and support catering staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling
- Liaise with planners to ensure all catering requirements are met
- Oversee event set-up and breakdown, ensuring all equipment and supplies are accounted for
- Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues effectively and professionally
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, COSHH, and HACCP
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- A professional attitude, with integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
- A positive, approachable manner with excellent communication across teams
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to grow and learn
