Front of House Service Staff at Newcastle United Training Ground

Role Responsibility

  • To partake in training as required by both legislation and the company.
  • To assist with setup prior to player/staff arrival, ensuring all necessary equipment is in place.
  • To work efficiently, adhering to company working practices.
  • To complete any task assigned by a supervisor, working proactively at all times.
  • Providing the highest possible level of customer service, taking both food and beverage orders as required.
  • Working in adherence with Food Allergens information and service procedures.
  • To remain attentive to players/staff needs, working in a timely manner to minimise any wait times.
  • Ensuring all food and beverage products served are of the required standard, well presented, and served in line with service guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of all products and menus.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, with any effective equipment reported.
  • Clearing all used or unnecessary cutlery, crockery, glassware or debris from players/staff tables.
  • Reporting any feedback or queries to a supervisor.
  • Assisting with the learning and development of any less experienced staff, providing on the job training where possible.
  • To assist with the clear down of the area to the required level when service is complete.
  • Complete, sign and comply with all relevant documentation, company policies or procedures.
  • Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or in line with any reasonable request.
  • To comply fully with all regulations relating to Health and Safety:-

i. Fire precautions and emergency procedures

ii. COSHH

iii. Hygiene and Food Safety

  • Ensuring correct and hygiene handling (processing) of food items is maintained

Package Description

Serving food and beverages to players and staff at the NUFC Training Ground. To work proactively during service, ensuring players and staff have everything they require, assisting with cleardown and cleaning. You must work in complete adherence to the company procedures set by Sodexo and Newcastle United.
