One of our most spectacular exclusive use venues for weddings, parties and corporate events, Mansfield Traquair is nothing short of extraordinary. Built in 1885 and located in the heart of the city, this listed building is a vital piece of Edinburgh’s architectural and artistic heritage and has been restored and preserved to its former glory. It’s now known as one of Edinburgh’s most spectacular event venues.

We are looking for outstanding customer focused individuals to join our front of house events team. Our people not only look after our customers and clients, but they are also the heart and soul of our business. Renowned for being a cut above the rest, we would love for you to join the team!

This type of work is a great way to learn new skills/develop up the ranks, meet new people and work around university/other employment commitments etc. Shifts vary each week dependent on our event schedule, which means you can book in for as much as or as little work as you want. We have a variety of weekday and weekend events; the minimum shift length is 4 hours. 

What you’ll do: 

• Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving beverages to guests
• Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
• Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items
• Assist in set-up and cleardown of events

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• A team player with an ability to work in a busy environment
• Good attention to detail and punctuality
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Experience within a hospitality, catering, or bar setting
