Food Services Lead

Salary: Up to £65,000 based on experience & excellent range of employee benefits

Location: Remote with the requirement to travel regularly between our client sites in Cambridge and Macclesfield.

As the Food Services Lead for Sodexo at one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, you will be responsible for introducing innovative and inspirational food services and benchmark against ‘what good looks like’ in Sodexo.

In this role you will be a consultative leader for all areas of catering service design, whilst remaining responsible for the effective delivery of catering services across the 2 client sites in Cambridge and Macclesfield.

You will build, lead, and develop a high performing team and drive continuous improvement alongside our business leads to set the standards then maintain and improve.

Also working closely with the client, you be the face of the food service for key stakeholders in a food transformation expert capacity.

What you’ll do: 

Be a leader for all areas of Catering service design whilst remaining responsible for the effective delivery of catering services.
Motivate, engage, and lead food transformation to ensure teams are supported to perform their roles to a high standard and in alignment to Sodexo policies and procedures.
Provide onsite strategic and management support to catering teams in menu planning and service delivery.
Act as food transformation expert for supporting mobilisations of new catering services.
Provide onsite strategic and management support to catering teams in menu planning and service delivery.
Be the face of the food service for the Client and Key Stakeholders in a food transformation expert capacity.
Ensure catering teams comply with Company & Client policies, site rules and

What you bring:

Proven experience in managing and leading a motivated food function.
Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments & innovations.
Strong financial understanding and demonstrable budgeting management.
Experience working in a standards /compliance environment.
Relevant craft and H&S qualifications and training.
Recognised health and safety qualifications e.g., IOSH.
