Job Introduction
To deliver high standards of catering and cleaning services across designated areas, ensuring excellent customer service, compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures, and adherence to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out catering and cleaning tasks efficiently, including daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual duties.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in kitchens, catering stations, stores, and equipment.
Use cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals safely following correct training.
Report any maintenance, equipment faults, or hazards immediately.
Ensure appropriate safety signage is displayed at all times.
Maintain personal hygiene and wear provided uniform and PPE correctly.
Receive, check, and store deliveries following stock rotation procedures (FIFO).
Replenish catering stations (tea, coffee, milk, sugar) and operate tills as trained, including cash handling.
Follow profit protection procedures.
Participate in training and maintain knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH, HACCP, and site procedures.
Handle customer complaints professionally and report to the Café Supervisor.
Assist with reception, mail, furniture movement, and miscellaneous tasks as required.
Be flexible to cover additional hours due to holiday or sickness.
Complete relevant paperwork and secure working areas at the end of the day.

Previous experience in catering, cleaning, or facilities support.
