Are you passionate about greatfood and friendly service? At Sodexo, we’re looking for a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our team, where you’ll prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages while making every customer interaction a positive one. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality, safety, and consistency, helping us deliver an excellent experience every day. This role includes Saturday shifts, which are a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a lively atmosphere, connect with more customers, and be part of a supportive weekend team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to the required standards, ensuring professional customer service at all times.
- Follow role specifications and complete tasks across designated areas of the catering operation.
- Support all aspects of the catering service as directed by line management, including vending machine stocking and cash/stock counts.
- Operate the cashless till system accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to company policies on uniform, dress standards, health & safety, food safety, and marketing requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to support personal development and service excellence.

- You’ll enjoy preparing and serving food and beverages to a high standard, taking pride in every detail.
- You’ll have (or be keen to develop) knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety practices, helping to keep everyone safe.
- You’ll feel comfortable following our company policies, procedures, and uniform standards, knowing they help us deliver consistency and quality.
- You’ll thrive on variety, happy to support different areas of the catering operation and learn new skills along the way.
- You’ll be a dependable team player who’s organised, eager to learn, and ready to grow with us.
