Food & Retail Manager

Job Introduction

Do you have strong retail catering management experience and passionate about customer service? Do you have experience in Financial, business and people management? If yes, this role could be for you.

 A brand-new exciting opportunity has become available for a Food and Retail Manager to join our team on a prestigious pharmaceutical client site in Brentford, London. In this role you will be managing a contract comprising of multiple outlets; restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, a Deli bar and three coffee bars. You will effectively manage a large team including chefs and food services assistants. You will be responsible for the success of the contract including P&L accountability and service standards.

You’ll ensure that all brand standards are delivered throughout the shift to ensure complete customer satisfaction – completing all relevant checks, standards, food and health and safety checks and taking necessary remedial action. You will ultimately have total responsibility for mentoring and motivating your team to exceed business metrics and expectations and offer high levels of customer service.

Experience within a corporate environment would be desirable and your determination and focus to achieve fantastic results will shine through when you talk through your achievements.

 

Role Responsibility

  • To deliver a high-quality food, hospitality and retail offer that meets the need of Sodexo, our clients and our customers.   
  • To ensure a focus on driving sales by delighting out customers at every visit.
  • To maximise the profitability of the food operation without compromising the quality of the offer.
  • To build, lead and develop a high performing team.
  • Demonstrate high levels of retail acumen and be able to embed brand standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Financial management
  • Extensive catering/hospitality experience in a blue chip corporate site
  • Extensive retail experience
  • Operational knowledge, skills and experience in a multi outlet facility
  • Management of Profit and Loss Accounts and acting on their results
  • Leadership of a team
  • Experience of working in a client / contractor environment

Package Description

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
