Food Production Supervisor

What you’ll do:  - Please see attached Job Description

  • Oversee the setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods from counters and steamtables 
  • Ensuring equipment and workstations is sanitized
  • Reads recipes and/or product directions and estimate food requirements 
  • Overseeing the replenishment of food from counters and steam table and break down stations at the end of meal periods 

What you bring: 

  • Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others 
  • Basic food-handling skills 
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) 
  • Have previous supervisory experience.

Package Description

  • An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our team here at Doncaster Royal Infirmary as a Food Production Supervisor!!

    Can you lead a team?  We are looking for a Food Production Supervisor to manage and oversee the production of meals for service at the required times in line with the contract specification. Ensuring at all times that the food produced is to the company’s standards and ensures the client’s, patients and customer satisfaction.

    You will supervise all aspects of food production from preparation to service, whilst managing a small team of cooks ensuring efficient service throughout the operation, remaining compliant with company statutory regulations regarding hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness in the kitchen, maintaining good customer and colleague relations at all times whilst working within budgetary requirements.

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £12.00 per hour
  • Permanent Full Time
  • Working:  5 days over 7 between 6.00am – 8.00pm
