Job Introduction
As a Fitness Manager and Instructor, you play a crucial role in promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing across the site, inspiring individuals to lead more active and healthier lifestyles. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Health & Wellbeing facility, providing exercise instruction, conducting inductions, leading classes, and actively promoting health and fitness initiatives. What you’ll do:
- Manage the Health & Wellbeing facility, ensuring a high standard of service and facility maintenance.
- Conduct fitness assessments, inductions, and personalized sessions, designing and reviewing fitness programmes to meet member needs.
- Develop and deliver a varied class timetable, including live and virtual group exercise sessions.
- Champion Health & Wellbeing initiatives across the site, implementing activities designed to increase overall site activity levels.
- Utilize social media and other platforms to promote wellness activities and increase participation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and Sodexo's policies and procedures.
What you bring:
- CIMSPA Level 2 qualification as a minimum, with a strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client service.
- Computer literacy, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A proactive approach to managing and organizing workloads and the facility.
