Financial Reporting Analyst (Operational KPIs)

We have an exciting role for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Global Supply Management Team. Working hand in hand with key stakeholders you will efficiently drive, develop, and operate Supply Management financial performance reporting, integrate SM Finance activity with Global SM project delivery and transform the way we report our KPIs through innovative systems & process solutions.

Role Responsibility
GSM Reporting activities
- Own, with a desire to constantly improve and automate, SM performance reporting activity and products.
- Directly support both the GSM Finance Controller and VP GSM Finance with the end-to-end process for the construction of all standard performance reports including actual snapshots, SM Target setting, quarterly performance reviews, forecasts and monthly KPIs up to COMEX and Investor Relations level quality.
- Work closely with SO & SM Finance colleagues to ensure clear and efficient integration of SM reporting activities within the wider SO reporting agenda.
- Manage & digest Group & SO reporting planning requirements in order to design SM planning cycle process.
GSM Process and Systems activities
- Evolve all GSM reporting processes to maximize insight, as well as integrity and efficiency, whilst maintaining excellent financial governance principles through strong regional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Contribute to transforming the organization: identify global SM finance KPI processes that could be managed/reported in a better way and implement innovative solutions on financial activities across GSM.
- Provide insights on, and solutions to manage the worldwide consolidation of , risks and opportunities in analytical accuracy given legacy data systems. This is with the outcome of bringing better visibility to, and improvement on, integrity of shared information I.e., spend, KPI calculation, operational KPIs.- single source of truth.
- Take ownership of activity to efficiently maximize SM utilization of Group and functional reporting tools e.g., Essbase, HFM, Tagetik, Power-BI, Excel & PowerPoint to their fullest potential with the aim of limiting Excel dependencies.
- As an integral part of delivering solutions to the above points, design, build and action a SM KPI ‘data lake’ to store current and historical KPIs and contributing attributes.
- Manage a culture of simple yet strong financial data management.
GSM Project activities
- From a finance lens, contribute to the development of Supply Management’s digitalization in conjunction with global SM data/system/process team.
- Ensure that short- & medium-term GSM Finance process solutions effectively support SM data and system projects for future proofing the way we work via longer term integration.
- Actively participate in and contribute to, through new ideas and solutions discovery, the evolution, build and implementation of new and evolving SM KPIs.
The Ideal Candidate
Profile
- Strong experience of delivering end-2-end robust financial/operational KPI reporting across a complex function/operation including developing data capture and consolidation process.
- Ability to get the most from complex and inconsistent data sets via innovate process, system, and tools solutions.
- Financial project leader &/or Financial/Operational KPI construct SME
- Demonstrate managing multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines at a senior level
- Seasoned self-starter who is passionate about collaboration & highly disciplined with a strong orientation towards innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously and with autonomy.
- Strong business/finance ethics
Experience
- Degree level education &/or accountancy qualification
- Proven post qualification/role relevant experience
- Global mindset with international experience an advantage,
- Fluency in English mandatory; any other language an advantage.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI) and relevant data capture, storage & analytical tools/systems
