Facilities Waste Coordinator

Job Introduction

Job Title: Facilities Waste Coordinator 
Location: Slough, SL1 4LG
Working Pattern: 42 hours per week – 4 on, 4 off rota (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, 4 days off)
Hourly Rate: £15.30 per hour

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Facilities Waste Coordinator to join our team in Slough. This role plays an important part in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant waste operations within a busy production facility.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating the movement and management of waste materials on site, using forklifts and other equipment to ensure smooth and compliant operations across the facility.


 Key responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and electric pallet trucks to safely handle and transport waste materials
  • Coordinate waste segregation, storage, and removal in line with environmental and site procedures
  • Carry out regular checks on waste handling areas and equipment, reporting issues promptly
  • Work with production and facilities teams to ensure waste movements are planned and completed efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and support environmental compliance reporting
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment


 What we’re looking for:

  • Valid FLT licence, including electric pallet truck certification (desirable)
  • Experience in an operational, logistics, or facilities role, ideally within a production environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams
  • Basic computer skills for recording and reporting purposes
  • A proactive, safety-conscious, and dependable approach to work
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing site priorities
