Facilities Technician

Job Introduction

As a Facilities Technician at Sodexo in Ringaskiddy, you will be the main point of contact. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the hands-on maintenance and calibration of Facilities equipment. Working closely with the Facilities team, the Facilities technicians will form part of the overall site goal of maximizing asset performance.

  What you’ll do:  

• Delivery of a consistent level of service, within the Company's standards, to the contract specification and agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.

• Compliance to company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.

•  Dealing effectively and safely with all service requests and incidents within the range of competence, training and experience as required and by out of hours response where necessary.

• Ensure the standards across the site(s) are in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and KPI’s specified in the service contract.

What you bring:  

• Proven track record in similar role, preferably with at least 2 years’ experience Proven ability to organize tasks Ability to carry out duties efficiently Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to operate as part of a team. Customer focus. Innovative. Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument/Utilities aptitude. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills. Results and performance driven. Adaptable and flexible.
