Job Introduction

As a Facilities Operations Manager at Sodexo on site at Grangegorman TU Dublin University Campus you are a natural leader and a champion for driving the highest standards.

Grangegorman campus is home for up to ten thousand students undertaking their studies and as part of our operational team.

You will be providing key systems support in the operation across two new state of the art buildings incorporating lecture halls, theatre production, performance halls, science laboratories, kitchens, workshops, and many other specialty educational environments.

You’ll lead the onsite service delivery team providing development and direction to ensure compliance with all our contractual obligations.

With full ownership of the lifecycle replacement program and PPM schedules you’ll manage our external contractors and ensure structures and processes are in place to drive consistency.

What You Bring

•   Previous management experience with ability to motivate and lead a team to deliver their full potential
•   An understanding of basic technical aspects of Facilities Management Services and building fabrication
•   Strong communication skills and able to build successful working relations with our customers
•   Capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
•   Good financial acumen with experience of working to budgets
•   A structured and organized approach with experience of working in a compliance driven role
•   Previous Facilities Management/Coordination experience would be desirable
