Fabric Maintenance Technician

Location: Johnson & Johnson - Pinewood Campus, Wokingham.

Fixed Term Contract for 18 Months

Salary: £34,000 per year / £16:35 per hour and range of excellent employee benefits

Monday/ Friday – 8am – 5pm with an on-call requirement 1 week in 3

Driving licence essential

Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance professional to join our established team at the Johnson & Johnson site based at the Pinewood Campus in Wokingham.

In this role you will be responsible for the daily checks and first point of contact relating to all the onsite reactive or planned maintenance requirements.

Working with our onsite specialist teams you will help coordinate of all of the maintenance requirements and also assist with minor works and also the completion of painting and decorating on site.

You will also be an active member of the On-Call Rota for the Technical Team – 1 week in 3 as standard, which includes evenings and weekends.

In addition to this, you will very occasionally be required working on Partner site in High Wickham. A company van is provided for work related travel.

About You

Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:

Previous experience in a similar maintenance / site based role
Building fabric competence with NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications
Painting & decorating experience (ideally within a site-based environment)
Practical experience of working to health and safety standards
Ability to communicate with customers and team members.
Ability to self-manage and self-plan workload to meet set deadlines.
Flexible attitude to work individually and working as part of a team.
Have good practical skills and be able to find pragmatic solutions to day-to-day issue.

Qualifications required:

Full UK driving licence.
Additional qualifications and experience in other building related trades would be advantageous.
