FM General Service Manager 
Location: Mars Wrigley – Plymouth. PL6 7PR
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 & excellent range of employee benefits
Full Time/ Permanent role
 
Are you an experienced facilities management professional who is ready for a new challenge?
 
Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Services Manager to join and lead our onsite team in Plymouth.  
 
Working alongside the technical manager you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the onsite client stakeholders and Sodexo IFM service delivery. 
 
You will achieve this through a combination of managing the delivery through the hard and soft service teams and promoting an ethos of team work to instil a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

About You 
 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 
 
  • Highly professional, proactive and driven operational manager 
  • IOSH Managing Safely and RIPH Food Safety or similar qualification
  • Track record in managing teams in a high class, blue-chip environment multi-site IFM service portfolio covering Hard, Soft and Catering Services
  • Excellent customer service, stakeholder management skills and people skills.
  • Relationship builder and experience in working in a matrix delivery environment
  • IT literate and financially astute
  • A track record in managing people change
  • High level of technology acumen
  • Broad knowledge of multiple service lines and their benefit to an organization
  • Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety in practice
 
Desirable
  • Proven experience of developing profitable relationships   
  • NEBOSH general certificate
  • Corporate member of relevant professional institution
  • Proven track record of leading, managing and developing a team
