We're looking for individuals to join our hospitality management team, whether that be in a suite, restaurant, executive boxes or fine dining setting.

A room manager is responsible for both the operational setup and clear down of the area, ensuring its smooth operation during service. You should monitor staff to ensure they actively upsell, maximising revenue capture and serving drinks in line with service guidelines, while ensuring food service is efficient, with all catering served in line with specified timings.

Role Responsibility

• Ensure and oversee area setup prior to guests arrival, with all necessary mis en place in place.
• Conduct a comprehensive staff briefing prior to service, ensuing all staff are in correct uniform.
• To monitor staff working practices to ensure they are working efficiently and productively, adhering to company working practises, with reference to responsibilities and job description of staff.
• To liaise with the kitchen team, ensuring all food products are serviced in line with timings specified.
• A thorough understanding of food and beverage packages and menus.
• Working in adherence with Food Allergens information and service procedures.
• Ensuring that both bar and floor staff are attentive to guests needs, working in a timely manner to minimise any wait times.
• Ensuring all food and beverage products serviced are of the highest possible standard, well presented and with correct garnish.
• Overseeing the Bar Manager, with extensive knowledge of product stocked, and competence in cellar management.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment, with any defective equipment reported.
• Deal with customer and staff complaints effectively and efficiently.
• Encouraging and motivating staff to actively upsell products and maximise revenue capture.
• To accurately and thoroughly record all guest feedback.
• To accurately monitor any wastage, ensuring this is recorded through the Zonal till system.
• Assist with the reconciliation of end of day banking, ensuring PCI Compliance at all times.
• Ensure area is fully cleaned with stock secured at the end of shift.
• Complete adherence to all licensing legislation, including that which is company specific.
• Rewarding and recognising staff, working to develop potential and provide on the job training.
• Complete, sign and comply with all relevant documentation, company policies or procedures.
• Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or in line with any reasonable request.
• To comply fully with all regulations relating to Health and Safety.
