Executive Development Chef - 18 Month FTC

What you’ll do:
- Develop and deliver the annual menu development and seasonal New Product Development (NPD) plan in line with group strategy.
- Stay ahead of consumer taste trends, competitors, and industry culinary techniques.
- Define clear supplier product briefs aligned with core brand values, menu architecture, and food policies.
- Lead food shows and innovation workshops as a Culinary Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Utilise market and consumer data to define health and sustainable eating plans.
- Engineer menus and recipes to mitigate inflationary challenges.
- Champion plant-based dish development as a key SME.
What you bring:
- A passionate foodie with a wealth of innovative ideas and the ability to translate emerging trends into commercial opportunities.
- Extensive experience in product innovation, with a focus on customer and brand values.
- Interest and background in plant-based culinary dish development preferred.
- Solid knowledge of retail/high street operations.
- Strong understanding of commercial menu management.
- Proven experience delivering innovation and product development within the retail or food service sector.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work with online menu and recipe development systems.
