Events coordinator

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced events coordinator to join our team in Dublin. Reporting to the Events and Transport manager you will be the first point of contact from an event experience point of view. As a brand ambassador you will be dealing with enquiries and using your expertise to guide our clients understanding of the venue and protocols and sharing information with security and front of house to ensure the delivery of a high standard event.

Attention to detail is imperative for this role, with the ability to multi-task, whilst delivering a high standard of customer service.

This position will suit an event planner with a growth mindset who understand the importance of interpersonal skills and comradery in the business whilst delivering an excellent event experience for our clients.

Role Responsibility

Coordination of the locations, management of associated meeting rooms, organization and logistics for internal and external client events through calendars and the Power Platform.

▪Coordination of the administration of the locations inboxes & general queries

▪Ensure client’s security and emergency procedures are always adhered to

▪Participate in risk assessments and creation of safe systems of work for the department and embrace a safety work culture

▪Be main point of contact for M&O events team, RE&F and other departments within Microsoft

▪Understanding and application of Microsoft Teams and willing to learn Audio Visual

▪Deliver excellent time management skills: ability to plan, multi-task and prioritise work to ensure all activities are completed within deadlines

▪Provide effective communication with colleagues and users to ensure customer expectations are met and managed to meet the client’s Service Level

Ability to work on own initiative and at times in ambiguity

▪Ability to work under pressure whilst never compromising professional service delivery

▪Friendly and approachable personality with the ability to operate in a confident manner

▪Close liaison with other service teams especially Security, Facilities, and overall building operations teams

▪Excellent communication and “people” skills

▪Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to operate in a confident, polite and approachable manner
