Event Coordinator

Job Introduction

We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join the Sodexo team at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, this role involves working across all aspects of the event planning function. Acting as the liaison between customer, sales, logistics and operations this role will ensure the smooth running of all conferences and events at this fantastic venue.

Role Responsibility

This role will be involved in all aspects of event planning, working across various departments from the initial enquiry to invoicing:-

  • Ensuring all information received directly from the client, operations and sales department is managed correctly through the system.
  • Handle telephone & e-mail enquiries and ensure all queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. 
  • Support the commercial and Conference and Events Operations Manager in the production of invoices after the event
  • Production of accurate planning documents for all internal departments
  • Information is distributed to all relevant teams in a timely manner to ensure areas are set correctly and customers’ requirements are met.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of event planning and administration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Good organisational, Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends at events
  • Ability to multi-task
