Event Coordinator
Job Introduction
Sodexo Live! have an exciting opportunity for an Event Coordinator to join our amazing non-matchday sales team based at Hampden Park, Scotland National Stadium!
Reporting into the Sales Manager you will handle non-matchday event enquiries from their infancy, demonstrating enthusiasm, knowledge, and an ability to identify and match customer needs to venue event solutions. You will be an excellent organiser with a passion for providing first class customer service. You will display confidence and professionalism throughout the enquiry handling process, including identifying and quoting dynamic pricing, carrying out detailed venue show rounds, employing sales techniques and delivering results as part of a high performing sales team.

Main Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Exceed targets by providing customers with a motivating and exemplary sales experience.
- Develop existing accounts and engage with them to increase their commitment.
- Pro-actively win new business.
- Manage sales enquiries through multiple channels.
- Achieve venue conversion and revenue targets.
- Manage event payments.
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM system.
- Provide a first-class level of customer service.

The Ideal Candidate
What you bring
- A proven track record in an event planning /sales role
- A strong knowledge of the local events market
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent communication verbal & written skills
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver measurable sales targets
- Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to prioritise various job demands.
