Estates Manager (PFI, Hospital)
Job Introduction
Are you a Facilities Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to develop their career with Sodexo. You will be responsible for the day to day operations and management of FM services at Kings College PFI Hospital London. As well as managing Hard Services the role includes the effective management and delivery of planned preventative maintenance programs ensuring continuous improvement and financial performance within agreed budgets.
Role Responsibility
- Line management responsibility for finance assistant, helpdesk operative and maintenence Supervisor
- Build solid relationship with SPV Manager to ensure Sodexo’s interests are protected.
- Establish key relationships with Contract Representatives from the NHS trust and JV partner.
- Attend meetings with Stakeholders to monitor and improve service delivery.
- Manage the day to day operations on site and ensure service delivery is of the highest quality and customer focused, with a significant emphasis on standards
- Ensure that Sodexo continuously and effectively deliver the clients needs to the agreed specified Service Level Agreements
- Directly manage the operational management team, ensuring that each manager delivers their specific services within the agreed budget
- Have full P&L responsibilities for the services being managed, and accountability to deliver against company budgets
- Develop and manage a professional client retention and communication strategy, attending client meetings as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience of management of FM Contracts and influence change where required
- Must have management experience working in a hospital environment with a PFI contract
- Qualified to ONC/HNC standard in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Building Services or Building
- Have experience in coaching and influence teams
- Services management experience of people and commercial issues
- Must satisfy a CRB check and heath check
- Good communication skills with the mental agility to ‘think on feet’ and provide convincing practical solutions
- Strong analytical skills with a strong bias towards P&L financial management
- Intelligent approach to performance monitoring including relevant experience
- Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Word & Microsoft office
- Qualified to ONC/HNC standard in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Building Services or Building
