An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance Team. The role will include financial reporting for the UK and Ireland, liaising
with client Finance teams and the rebate manager to maintain positive client relationships. They will be responsible for maintaining each entities balance sheets,
purchase ledger and managing and updating the cashflow forecast.
Role Responsibility
- The role will support the Senior Management Accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts for all UK and Ireland entities, in line with Entegra and
- Sodexo reporting requirements.
- Working closely with client finance teams, to include attending monthly meetings, rebate calculations, raising monthly payments and producing client statements.
- They will be responsible for reconciling all company bank accounts on a daily basis, maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing and reconciling each entities
- balance sheets. They will also update and maintain the cashflow reports.
- Working closely with the rebate manager, they will ensure all fees are invoiced accurately and correctly and sent to clients in a timely manner, make a weekly rebate
- payment run and sending out rebate remittances.
- They will also manage the purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are authorised in accordance with the company guidelines, posting onto GP and running weekly
- payment runs.
The Ideal Candidate
- The successful candidate will be a confident assistant management accountant, they will possess advanced office application knowledge and skills and have strong
- attention to detail.
- They will have proven experience in a similar role and / or be working towards a qualification
- Although not essential, experience in using MS Dynamics GP is preferred.
