Engineering Operations Manager
Job Introduction
Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Operations Manager to deliver the M&E obligations we have under the hard FM contract at our flagship energy client site in central London.
In this fantastic role you will provide line management duties for all engineering shift teams, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of maintenance schedules and lead and manage all planned maintenance activity on site.
You will be an experienced Manager in a similar building services role with a relevant qualification - Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services level 4/5 qualifications required.

Role Responsibility
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for the management and delivery of maintenance schedules
- To lead and manage all planned maintenance activity on site
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Technical Services Project Management
- Managing sub-contractors on site
- To lead and motivate the engineering team
- To ensure that excellent customer care is practiced by both self and staff

The Ideal Candidate
What you bring:
Essential
- Mechanical or Electrical technical qualifications with proven management experience
- Experience of implementing both planned and reactive maintenance schedules and interfacing with 3rd party client led project work
- Commercial Risk management
- A sound belief in the principles of HSE, with demonstrable examples of leading by example and instilling a mindset of Zero Harm
- Sound financial knowledge
- Good IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification, and knowledge of relevant legislation, especially with regard to Health & Safety.
- Capable of dealing with staff and customers at all levels, both internally and externally
- Team player, willing to take ownership and responsibility in the role
Desirable
Previous experience of Working as an Authorised Person in relevant disciplines
Package Description
to £60,000pa dependent on exp + excellent bonus & benefits package
Location: London Waterloo SE1
Permanent
Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday with flexibility essential to meet business demands
Role will be required to be a point of escalation and take part in On call rota
