As a member of the ER Services team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and responsive environment, providing crucial advisory services. Your work will directly support line managers and impact our company culture, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive working environment. This is a chance to apply your skills in a varied role, managing different ER cases and contributing to our continuous improvement ethos.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver remote, responsive ER advisory service, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Manage and support line managers in handling ER issues such as absence management, probation, and flexible working arrangements.
- Resolve escalated ER queries, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in the CSM system.
- Advise on managing formal ER issues up to the final warning stage, in line with company policy.
- Proactively monitor and prioritize cases, ensuring timely support and communication with managers.
- Collaborate with HR Services for case file coordination, redundancy calculations, and administrative tasks.
- Stay updated with legislative changes and provide support on TUPE activities and employment tribunals.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in providing remote ER support in a multi-site operation.
- Expertise in HR advice aligned with policies, legislation, and TUPE processes.
- Strong organisational skills to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Practical problem-solving approach with a strong focus on confidentiality.
- Good knowledge of current employment legislation and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it is essential.
