Drinks Runner

Job Introduction

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Drinks Runners to join our team in The Wallace Collection.

The Wallace Collection is located in the heart of Manchester Square, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea daily within a stunning courtyard setting. 

You will be working amongst inspiring and breath taking masterpieces, welcoming our guests and serving them in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment

No experience required; we are looking for:

Training will be provided and there will be an opportunity for progression and development.

The site is open 7 days a week, with shifts being 11am – 5/6pm.

Gratuity is split with all the team, based on hours worked. Over the last 6 months, the minimum gratuity that the team received in a week was £2.23 per hour added to their wage.

There will be opportunities to work at other sites and events within our team too if you wish to expand your experience and knowledge.

Role Responsibility

  • Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving beverages to guests
  • Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
  • Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Being friendly yet professional
  • Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
  • Good attention to detail and punctuality
  • Being proactive is key
  • Experience within a hospitality, catering or bar setting

About the Company

Heritage Portfolio is the sub-segment of Sodexo Live! that produces outstanding catering and event services for our cultural destinations. These include exceptional “in-house” café services in some of Britain’s leading visitor attractions such as V&A Dundee, The Royal Academy of Arts, The Signet Library, RAF Museum Hendon, The Scottish National Gallery, private parties and dining, weddings and prestigious events including The Royal Garden Party for which we are honoured to have received a Royal Warrant of Appointment as Supplier of Catering Services.
