Domestic Supervisor (Hospital Cleaning, Healthcare)
Job Introduction
Our Healthcare division require an experienced supervisor to lead the domestic operation, as per allocated zones, for a hospital.
Role Responsibility
- Lead team of approx 50 Domestic Assistants, across different shifts, ensuring that they deliver an exceptional and timely cleaning service across the hospital
- Assessing workload schedules and allocating resource as required whilst prioritising urgent requests.
- Weekly monitoring of quality control systems for the domestics service through appropriate IT systems as instructed.
- Monitor and report on all staff absences and sickness and coordinate rotas.
- Ensure that all domestic materials and equipment are kept clean, hygienic and well maintained.
- Actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of domestic services within a hospital or similar environment
- Proven leadership experience of a large team including rostering, managing sickness and labour management
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Flexible approach to role
