Document Creation and Proof Reading Administrator - FTC 3 months
Job Introduction
Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator - Document control and Proof Reading to join our service team. This role will be based in our Head office Salford, Manchester and will be offered on a 3 month Fixed term contract
Reporting to our Head of Soft FM and Food, this role will sit within our government segment for the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Defence contracts. The role will be responsible for working with our stakeholders who will ultimately own each document created, offering expect skills creating documents and proof reading to meet the operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, previous experience working with document control and proof reading, along with fantastic people skills.

Role Responsibility
Document Design
● Using Sodexo design and style guide
● Create documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio – within defined templates/guidance
Transposition of old documents to new format
● Accurate transposition
● Creation of compliant documents by formatting to exact specifications
● Making document look good and focus on ease of use
● Creating a cover page
● Adding page numbers
● Inserting section or page breaks
● Adding headers and footers – for document control
● Referencing out – accurate to document description and consistency
Proofread and edit
● Read and review
● Edit to improve consistency – user understanding
● Error checking and amendment

The Ideal Candidate
- A highly experienced, technically skilled Document formatter and Proofreader
- Passionate about document design and creation
- Ability to work across teams
- Proficient userer of Microsoft software - Word, Sharepoint, Excel, powerpoint, Visio
- Strong communication skills and people skills
- High attention to detail
