Location: Remote with regular national travel / overnight stays

Sodexo have an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Technical Services to join our established team within Corporate Services.
Drawing on your engineering and technical services leadership experience to date, you will play an important role in shaping our ambition to be a leading technical services provider in UK&I.
Taking responsibility for building strategic engineering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will drive continuous improvement within the Building Services Engineering environment by interrogating current processes and procedures, whilst also identifying and delivering improvements to develop an FM Centre of Excellence.

Taking the lead on engineering aspects of Contract Tenders, Bids and Mobilisations you will ensure the company delivers the highest standards of Technical Services to our Customers.

About You
To be considered for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Multiple years of related experience leading technical and operational teams for flagship buildings
- Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and understanding of comprehensive funds
- Good understanding of leases, contracts and related documents
- Experience in integrating energy management solutions into Facility Management
- Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
- Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business transformation programmes
- Proven experience of developing excellent relationships with clients built on trust
- Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills
- High standards of numeracy and written communication, particularly sales/bid copy
- Continuous professional development in industry/specialism
